INCLUDIS Real-Time Monitoring MDA
Version 6.1.4

The Real-Time Monitoring module provides machine related data. According to the make,
producer and controls of the machine, the data acquisition is obtained through industrial fieldbus
systems. The machine data is directly acquired at the machine controls or through an intelligent
subassembly in the machine control box.

INCLUDIS Factory

Cut Costs with Real-Time Production Monitoring

INCLUDIS Factory, a comtas software consulting Inc. MES- standard solution, offers you a software solution for the management of information. INCLUDIS helps you to monitor, control and reduce production costs. You receive current real-time production data of machines and equipment on your company network with the help of the industry standards Profibus DP or Ethernet TCP/IP. Questions regarding jobs and the state of planning can be answered immediately with the mere push of a button. Thus problems, such as bottlenecks, can be recognized promptly and short-term changes acted upon directly.

Detailed planning of orders is carried out with simple drag and drop functions using a practically proven fine planning module. The planned orders can be permanently balanced with the actual state of the production.

A continuous flow of information from the machine to the office is guaranteed. The production level information is passed automatically from the front-end module mechanical data processor to the statistic process control and than to the higher ERP-/PPS-System.

INCLUDIS Factory offers a modern future-oriented software solution
• with high-level automated data
• investment security by use of industrial standards
• reduced use of high-priced hardware for manual and often unreliable data input and a return of investment between 6 and 9 months

INCLUDIS Factory - Modules

The software modules can be combined randomly, optimally and/or set up singularly.

Module — INCLUDIS Production Scheduler

The quintessence of the INCLUDIS Production Scheduler is allowing the customer to schedule production jobs punctually. With this module an overall view of production can be attained at any given time by using the control system function.

The main task of the graphic control system is to provide support in the scheduling of jobs in production. With simple drag and drop functions it is possible to arrange each job for the relevant machine. The scheduling of the job is carried out through the planning function. Suggestions are automatically displayed as to which machine/group of machines are to be utilized. With the use of job simulation, any job can be scheduled. The input is not kept in the database until the function “Save” is used. Through the function “Reload” the original state can be reestablished. A movement log records all appointments so that delivery date adjustments can be made. Scheduling aid in the form of structured lists or Gant diagrams are also provided.

The INCLUDIS module Production Scheduler can be combined with the modules Real-Time Monitoring and Operation Data Acquisition (ODA). This enables the data and status of a job, the current state of a machine, the number of parts as well as the amount of downtime to be recorded and registered directly at the machines in production. The manual job data in production is carried out through the Plant Monitoring module. Re-registration can take place through barcode readers, palmtops, or industrial PCs.

Module — INCLUDIS Real-Time Monitoring (MDA)

The Real-Time Monitoring module delivers machine and machine related data. The data is acquired according to type, make, and machine controls and implemented through an industrial field bus system which is connected to the machine controls. Direct control integration is also possible through Ethernet TCP/IP.
The INCLUDIS network concept distinguishes in the Real-Time Monitoring-module between Automatic Data Acquisition (ADA) and Manual Data Acquisition (MDA).

The Real-Time Monitoring module records machine, condition and process data and helps to visualize the results in the shop-floor plan. The module ensures a constant set/actual comparison juxtaposing the recorded data with the production input requirement. Machine breakdowns can be recognized quickly, weak points in production are localized through data bank evaluation.

Module — INCLUDIS Operation Data Acquisition (ODA)

The Data Acquisition module delivers product oriented production data. In connection with the respective communication modules, wide-ranging production data is collected and evaluated. Whether dealing with order data, ordering material and raw materials, analysing quality data, avoiding downtime, or monitoring personnel related data, production is strengthened.

The main task of the ODA module is the acquisition and evaluation of data on the operation and current situation of production. The focal points are the constant set/actual comparisons, the quick identification of downtime as well as the localization of weak points in the production. INCLUDIS ODA can be installed in one-time or serial production.

Module — INCLUDIS Plant Monitoring

The Plant Monitoring module acquires data on manual input on job reporting, downtime reasons, maintenance, amount of / reasons for rejects, inspections and batch tracking.

INCLUDIS allows you to select between mobile or stationary types of data acquisition or to create combinations of both.

Mobile
RF - Mobile Radio Laser scanner

Stationary
Industry-PC (IPC)
Control Panel (CP)

INCLUDIS Plant Monitoring (RF) NEW!
The application of mobile radio scanners in connection with the INCLUDIS plant monitoring module is aimed at the user who is reliant on direct information from the machines in production but wishes to avoid the extensive and costly installation of cables from stationary terminals (control panels) or industrial PCs. All entries and inquiries concerning machines and jobs can be carried out by using the alpha numeric keyboard and the display in the radio scanner. With the aid of coded barcode lists on job data and causes of downtimes and rejects, the mobile data acquisition enables a higher and cost saving level of automation to be attained. Inquiries as to the current condition and status of the machines can be made through the online information.

INCLUDIS Plant Monitoring (IPC)
Within production, the relevant manufacturing data can be acquired from Touch Screen PC’s (IPC) through the Plant Monitoring module (IPC). The machine display at the IPC can be adjusted to suit various production and assembly areas. The current machine condition is displayed in the online information.

INCLUDIS Plant Monitoring (CP)
The Control Panels (CP) are located directly at the machines. The data acquisition takes place through the Ethernet TCP/IP network. The software system is Windows CE. Access to the database is attained through a HTML/Java application with the Standard Browser Microsoft Internet Explorer. The current machine condition is displayed at the IPC through the online information.

Module — INCLUDIS Production Reporting

INCLUDIS offers a strong performance tool for the statistical evaluation of machine and job data. This module assists you in the day to day acquisition of data. With simple table configuration commands production data is automatically calculated on a daily basis and displayed in tabular and graphic form. The function daily-/ weekly-/ monthly-report provides at a glance all the relevant production data.

It is also possible to carry out shift comparisons, weakpoint analysis and machine comparisons. With the additional function SQL-Question, you can decide which data you additionally wish to call up regularly, thereby diverting evaluations from the production. With the Menu Import/ Export it is possible to feed data into your Excel-Table calculation. This makes it possible to regularly receive only those evaluation results suited to the individual needs of the business.

Module — INCLUDIS Statistical Process Control (SPC)

The statistical process control module assists you in the introduction and expansion of your quality management.

With use of the ODA and MDA modules, process data and readings are acquired. From the database it is possible to call up and evaluate any produced job. Nummerical test procedures for process capability provide information on the features of the selected series of measurements in the production.

Module — INCLUDIS Maintenance / Service

The maintenance/service module assists the maintenance and servicing of the machines and equipment. Machine downtimes and service applications are acquired through the integrated service portal and statistically evaluated. The data can be accessed through Web-server technology and with an Internet Browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer).

The module provides a detailed acquisition of downtime, prepares working plans maintenance intervals and delivers a comprehensive report on the cause of the downtime as well as its consequences and frequency. Additionally the installed spare parts and worn out parts are recorded in the machine history

Module — INCLUDIS Web-Factory

Production data saved by INCLUDIS can be accessed with Web-Server-Technology in the Web-Factory module with a Browser (MS Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator) and in the Internet. Access possibilities are available in all database areas which are connected to INCLUDIS. The current machine condition or order status can be directly obtained.
